The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Sun rise was very early, but it was worth it on this worth it on this mid-June morning. When I looked out I could see some clouds but also breaks in the clouds so was hopeful for some color. However, this sunrise surpassed all expectations. This shot was about 10 minutes before sunrise and the colors were extraordinary! People that have seen this image have asked how I edited or filtered it. The short answer is that this IS how the sky looked. I did not boost any colors, play with white balance, or jack up saturation.
